Terms of service.
Last updated July 2026
What this covers
These terms govern your use of beyondthescan.io — the podcast, stories, Scan the Pay, and Off the Record (together, "the site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
Not professional advice
Everything on this site is for information and conversation. It is not medical advice, not legal advice, not financial or career advice. Salary figures are crowdsourced from anonymous, unverified submissions — treat them as a signal, not a guarantee. Make real decisions with real professionals.
Community content
Posts, replies, and pay reports are submitted anonymously by users. We don't endorse them, can't verify them, and aren't responsible for them. By submitting content you confirm it's yours to share, it follows the house rules, and you grant us a license to display it on the site. We may remove any content at any time, for any reason, including reports from other users.
Acceptable use
Don't post names, employers, or patient information. Don't harass anyone. Don't spam, scrape at abusive rates, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or try to deanonymize other users. We rate-limit anonymous actions and remove content that breaks these rules.
Our content
Episodes, stories, and the site's design are Beyond The Scan content (a RadiologyJobs property). Share links freely; don't republish our content wholesale without permission.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available but make no warranties — about uptime, about data accuracy, or about fitness for any purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability arising from your use of the site is limited to zero dollars, which is also what you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. The date above tells you when they last changed; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
